Hydraulic Grabs/Buckets

Hydraulic grabs are heavy-duty attachments used to grip, lift, and move large or awkward materials like scrap, rocks, or demolition waste. You’ll typically find them in sectors such as recycling, construction, demolition, and agriculture, where handling loose or uneven loads is a daily task.

They work using multiple claw arms, each powered by a double-acting hydraulic cylinder, which gives them strong and precise gripping capability. This makes them particularly effective for materials that aren’t uniform or neatly shaped.

These grabs can be fitted to a wide range of machinery, from smaller 2-ton units up to 60-ton excavators, cranes, and loaders, making them very versatile on-site.

The main structure is made from high-strength steel for durability, while the parts that come into direct contact with materials use wear-resistant steel to extend their lifespan. Key connection points use hardened pins and specialised bushings to cope with heavy loads, and critical components like cylinders and hydraulic systems are protected with reinforced covers to ensure reliable performance even in harsh environments.
